Man in Custody After Stabbing at Mall of America

Abdirahaman sneaked into a men's fitting room at the Minnesota mall and tried to swipe something from a customer's belongings while the man was outside the fitting room modeling clothes for his family.

Bloomington police say they have a subject in custody following a stabbing that injured two people Sunday night at the Macy's store at the Mall of America.

Police described it as an "interrupted theft". But he caught Abdirahaman in the act, and the would-be thief pulled a knife and stabbed him, authorities said.

Police identified the suspect as 20-year-old Mahad Abdiaziz Abdirahaman. He stabbed them both before being brought down and subdued by other shoppers, cops said. The first victim was stabbed after he returned to the dressing room and confronted a man attempting to steal his belongings. The suspect also was wounded.

Those concerns all came together to make Qualcomm's answer to Broadcom a big fat no, so now the ball is back in Broadcom's court. Qualcomm delivers chips to carrier networks to provide broadband and mobile data.

"He saw the man walking through before, talking to himself, really really loudly talking to himself", Schwieters said.

One Twitter user wrote: "Just lived through the scariest experience of my life". "By the time we got to the main area - the men's department is to the right - more police started running in with their guns drawn".

Two other people that were with the victim ran to help, and confronted the suspect.
