Samsung unveils 'Galaxy A8', 'Galaxy A8+' with Infinity Display

Both of these phones feature an Infinity display as rumored, and also come with a Samsung first, dual selfie camera. Samsung's newest midrangers are made entirely of glass, and sport the Infinity Display design of their flagship siblings, albeit in a more unrefined form, with thicker top and bottom bezels, and no flexible, side-sloping displays. Both these phones are also IP68 certified and support Samsung Pay. There is a fingerprint sensor below the rear camera which is used to unlock the phone.

Both runs on an Octa-core 7885 Exynos processor that has two 2.2GHz high-powered cores and six-1.6GHz efficiency cores. The entire setup is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery in the Galaxy A8 and 3,500 mAh battery in the Galaxy A8 Plus while both devices support Fast Charging.

The situation is an inflammation in his knee. "This is a serious problem but we hope to sort this as soon as possible". The coach can only decide for 11 players. "Of course I'm very happy", he said.

- Connectivity options include: dual-SIM, 4G LTE, NFC and USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing. According to leaks, Samsung Galaxy S9's fingerprint scanner will be below the camera, and not next to it as with the current Galaxy S8 series. A 16MP rear camera adores the back with a bright f/1.7 aperture. A primary 16MP f/1.9 sensor is paired to a secondary 8MP sensor.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+ were earlier speculated to launch in early 2018., succeeding the Samsung Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 from a year ago. "These handsets also feature Samsung's first dual front camera with "Live Focus", tech website Sam Mobile reported. It's good to see Samsung upping the game, and looking to compete with brands. However, these devices will start sales in early 2018, perhaps in January, and will come in four different colors: black, orchid grey, gold and blue. As stated, the devices will be initially sold in the European market, and will later on make it to other markets. There is no information regarding the pricing and availability of the devices, Samsung will reveal more at the CES 2018.
