Steelers Defensive Players Respond To Harrison Signing With Patriots

Harrison confirmed the signing with an Instagram post on Tuesday before the Patriots made an official announcement.

Harrison, who is the Steelers' career leader in sacks, piling up 80½ during his 14 seasons with the Steelers and 82½ during his career, briefly retired in September 2014 following a forgettable 2013 season in Cincinnati but returned when the Steelers ran into injury trouble. We needed to activate Marcus Gilbert.

That anger will likely only grow amongst Steelers fans today, as it is being reported that Harrison is now visiting with the team that beat Pittsburgh just a few weeks ago to move into first place in the AFC. "Really it's nothing more to it than that", coach Mike Tomlin said.

To make room on their roster, the Patriots released linebacker Trevor Reilly. Marquis Flowers played great in Sunday's win over the Bills in Van Noy's absence, leading the team with 10 tackles and 2.5 sacks, but the Pats could use more depth at linebacker without Dont'a Hightower.

He said, "this is also an indication that neither the BJP nor the Congress is showing any interest to secure Muslim votes". Ahead of Gujarat elections, the Congress president spent over 20 days campaigning extensively for his party.

It appears the Patriots are looking to add to their defense ahead of the final week of the regular season.

Alber Breer reports that Harrison's new deal with New England is just for 2017.

Both the Steelers and Patriots have earned a playoff berth and a bye-week in the upcoming National Football League playoffs.

The New England Patriots have won their fourth Super Bowl in the Brady/Belichick Era by defeating the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 in Super Bowl XLIX in Arizona. Both the Patriots-Jets and the Steelers-Browns games will take place at 1 PM, so Pittsburgh will also be playing starters and looking for a win.
