Sydney Loofe: Body of missing Tinder date woman found

Loofe family last heard from her on 15 November, according to the Huff Post.

Two people named as persons of interest in Loofe's disappearance, Aubrey Trail, 51, and Bailey Boswell, the 23-year-old woman she met online, remained jailed on Tuesday on a hold by the US Marshal's Service.

Lincoln Police Chief Jeff Bliemeister told reporters during a news conference Tuesday that "analysis of digital evidence" led authorities to the female body, which they believe is that of Sydney Loofe. They suspect foul play. Several law-enforcement agencies including the Federal Bureau of Investigation have been involved in the search.

A posting on the family's official Facebook page, Finding Sydney Loofe, states, "It's with heavy hearts that we share this most recent update with you all".

In an interview with that paper Monday night, George Loofe expressed gratitude to those who prayed for their daughter, posted flyers, spread word on social media and "everyone that had anything to do with the search for Sydney". May God grant eternal rest unto thee.

"We are indeed conducting a very thorough investigation to ensure we can provide an accurate account of what happened to Sydney", said Randy Thysse, special agent in charge of the FBI field office in Omaha, during a news conference at the Hall of Justice in Lincoln.

Trail, who has lived in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, left a South Dakota prison in 2005 after serving time for theft in Pennington County.

Fire officials say the fire broke out Monday east of Santa Paula, which is about 60 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles. So far, two buildings have been destroyed and thousands more are without power, according to reports.

The Lincoln woman was wearing a cream-coloured shirt and a light Columbia-brand jacket when she sent her friends a Snapchat with an emoji and an anticipatory caption: "Ready for my date". When her family couldn't get ahold of her, they reported her missing to police.

Bliemeister did not comment on whether the two are cooperating with authorities or if police are searching for other persons of interest.

Both Boswell and Trail have been in police custody since Friday on unrelated charges.

Authorities say Boswell admitted to being with Loofe in the hours leading up to her disappearance. This media house does not correct any spelling or grammatical error within press releases and commentaries. Her cell phone last pinged in the Wilber area, which is where the search was focused last week. "She has a decent heart". The pair, who have warrants out on unrelated charges, were contacted by authorities last week after releasing a freakish Facebook video, in which they said the police was smearing them by calling them persons of interest.

Trail said in the video, "As far as I know, I'm not wanted for anything". They also accused the police of blowing off their calls.

A lawyer whom Trail mentioned in the video, Douglas Werz, said in a statement that he had not been hired by the man. "But I'm not what you're trying to make me out to be", Trail said in one video. She said that she met Loofe "on a Tuesday", and she picked her up from her home. They add: 'Our thoughts and prayers are with the Loofe family'.
