Trump tweets that people are 'saying Merry Christmas again,' credits himself

President Donald Trump delivered a Christmas message to troops overseas from Mar-A-Lago, where he's spending the holidays.

It is costing a pro-Trump non-profit $1 million to air a new Trump ad on television that ends with a little girl saying, "Thank you President Trump for letting us say "Merry Christmas" again!" "'We say "Merry Christmas" again, very, very proudly, ' Trump added, repeating his position on saying 'Merry Christmas" over 'Happy Holidays'.

"We say Christmas again very proudly", Trump said from the living room of Mar-a-Lago.

"I predict that Santa will bring you building blocks, so many you won't be able to use them all", he said. 'What a job you've done'. 'So I want to congratulate the Coast Guard for having done an incredible job'. Nearly - it's unbelievable when I looked at the charts and I saw the number of lives you've saved. 'Enjoy yourselves. Really appreciate it, have a great Christmas and we're going to do some very personal questions between these great peple and myself'. At an event in Missouri last month he told supporters, "You don't see "Merry Christmas" any more".

The White House has not released Trump's Christmas schedule, but previous year he and his wife attended Christmas Eve services at a Palm Beach church before a quiet Christmas Day at the resort.

Afterward, Trump unleashed a series of tweets attacking FBI officials responsible for investigations into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's destruction of emails and whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russian agents.

'The Fake News refuses to talk about how Big and how Strong our BASE is, ' Trump wrote.

Trump lavished the troops with praise on "how well we're doing" in the fight against terrorism and declared, "We're winning".
