Leigh Corfman sues Judge Roy Moore

In a lawsuit that echoes a civil case against President Trump, an Alabama woman on Thursday sued failed U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore and his campaign for defamation, citing harsh personal attacks she faced after coming forward with allegations that he touched her sexually when she was 14 years old.

Moore, a Republican, lost the race to Doug Jones, the first Alabama Democrat elected to the U.S. Senate in 25 years. Just last week, after the election, they filed a lawsuit in which they once again called me a liar. In that document, Corfman's allegations were described as "false and malicious". The lawsuit, filed in Montgomery Circuit Court, asks Moore to publicly apologize.

'Mr. Moore's continued attacks against Ms. Corfman after the election and the content of his affidavit demonstrate that if not enjoined, he will continue to defame Ms. Corfman, if simply for the objective of furthering his political goals, ' Corfman's attorney wrote in the lawsuit. He made these statements at campaign rallies, in interviews, on the internet, on the radio, on television, and in newspapers.

Leigh Corfman is not seeking financial compensation beyond legal costs, said her attorney, Neil Roman.

Computer outage at customs causes major travel headache at JFK Airport
Photos posted on social networks by stranded passengers showed long lines at New York's JFK and Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson. A few minutes later, another tweet said the customs processing issue was resolved.

Well, guess Corfman, for one, is not exiting, after all. Corfman said she later arranged to meet Moore and that he took her to his home and initiated the encounter.

Anyhow, many of Moore's more vocal backers predicted Corfman and her fellow accusers would disappear from the public platform once the election ended - and they said this by way of showing how little steam their accusations had, and how politically motivated their whole sexual allegations were. "Mr. Moore and the Moore Campaign Committee will likely continue their defamation of Ms. Corfman unless this Court orders them to stop". Let's see what new reasons pop to paint Corfman the perpetrator, Moore a victim and the whole recent Senate controversies in Alabama nothing but complete and utter figments of media imaginations.

Regarding the Moore campaign committee, the lawsuit identified five people "have repeated Mr. Moore's false denials of sexually abusing Ms. Corfman when she was 14 years old and Mr. Moore's reckless accusations of improper motivations".
