Putin Says North Korean Leader Is 'Shrewd, Mature Politician'

Donald Trump has suggested he has a "very good relationship" with Kim Jong-un, the North Korean leader he previously threatened to "totally destroy" over the country's increasingly serious nuclear threats.

On December of 2016, he called Putin "very smart" and a few months later in an interview with Bill O'Reilly, Trump said "I do respect [Putin]".

"I have relationships with people", Trump said in an Oval Office interview.

"You'll see that a lot with me and then all of the sudden somebody's my best friend. I just don't want to comment". Kim called the 71-year-old American president "the mentally deranged US dotard".

North Korea has repeatedly threatened to turn the U.S. into "darkness and ashes" using the nuclear weapons they are developing at a surprisingly rapid rate.

A typical round of outrage ensued, directed not at the North Korean dictator but at the president of the United States. Moreover, according to experts from the DPRK Foreign Ministry's Institute for Disarmament and Peace, the United States is not just expanding the scale of regular and irregular military exercises along North Korea's perimeter, but also introducing fundamentally new elements created to achieve specific operational goals in the event of a large-scale conflict between North Korea and the United States.

Russian Federation and China both advocate for a freeze-for-freeze plan that would see North Korea halt its testing of ballistic missiles and nuclear devices in return for The U.S.' freezing of joint military exercises.

The Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra boasts a familiar Sony design, which isn't the most exciting out there, but it is at least functional. Sony pulled no punches in the battery department and fitted a 3,300mAh power pack in the L2, up from 2,620mAh on the L1.

The paper reported that Trump would not say whether contacts had already been initiated between the two foes. Gary Lynch, general manager of the Texas-based Rising S Bunkers, told Newsweek his company saw a significant increase in sales since Trump became president--especially as the stakes have risen with North Korea.

In the past, he has called talks with the North a waste of time. "(North Korean leader) King Jong Un and his family is a cult in North Korea".

He also declared that North Korea was "a responsible nuclear nation that loves peace" and that "the U.S. can not wage a war" against it.

Both The Telegraph and The Wall Street Journal have portrayed Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Secretary of Defense James Mattis as trying to caution President Donald Trump against a strike, and the national security adviser, H.R. McMaster, as advocating it.

The olive branch led to the first official dialogue between the two Koreas in more than two years, and an agreement for Pyongyang to send a delegation to next month's Winter Olympics in the South.
