Reliance Jio vs Airtel vs Vodafone

Sources are saying that Reliance Jio will cut the prices of its plans with 1GB data per day by up to Rs. 60 as part of a new Happy New Year 2018 offer.

Rs 398 plan: There is now 1.5GB daily data for 70 days on this plan. Now, Airtel has revised the plan to add seven more days' validity and offer 1GB data per day for 91 days. The Rs 458 tariff plan now offers benefits for 84 days, while the Rs 509 tariff plan gives benefits for 91 days from the date of recharge. The Rs 448 tariff plan on Airtel network now offers unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 1GB data per day for 84 days, whereas the Rs 509 plan provides the same for 91 days. Reliance Jio users get free, unlimited local, STD and roaming voice calls and SMS to all operators.

Airtel's revised plans come just days after it launched the Rs 799 plan to offer 3.5GB 4G data every day for a period of 28 days. While the ₹448 plan came with a validity of 70 days, the ₹509 plan came with a validity of 84 days.

If we look at prepaid plans in price-range of Rs 450 to Rs 500, rivals Vodafone and Airtel have several offers as well.

SpaceX successfully sends secret 'Zuma' satellite to space
SpaceX now can look forward to its next major test for the year - launching its huge heavy-duty rocket for the first time ever. The company's first successful Falcon 9 rocket launch of 2018 was also probably the most secretive in the company's history.

The plan also offers unlimited local and STD calls, however, there is a daily limit of 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes for the week. In short, customers can avail 1GB data per day in addition to unlimited calling and SMS for that duration.

The free-calling benefit is unchanged on this plan, but users must note that if the limit is exhausted, calls will be charged at 30 paise per minute.

Airtel's Rs 549 recharge offer gives users 84GB data for 28 days. This means users get a total of 82GB data on this plan. In total, the plan is offering 70GB of data. This means what Jio was offering at Rs. 399 prepaid recharge plan will now be available at Rs. 349 only. Apart from the change in validity, all other plans remain the same.
