At the next drawing Tuesday, lottery players will have a shot to snag $361 million.

The Mega Millions drawing on Tuesday will be the 23rd since the jackpot was hit on October 25. The cash value of the January 2 Mega Millions drawing will be $225 million. Tickets for that game are also $2. Mega Millions and Powerball are offering Georgia Lottery players two very large jackpots totaling almost $783 million dollars.

And Americans do love buying lottery tickets.

"Whenever the jackpots reach totals above $300 million we start to notice more and more people coming in to get tickets", said Joanie Maloney, assistant manager at Stogie's. Three players from Illinois, Kansas and Maryland split the jackpot.

The winning numbers will be drawn Wednesday. The $343 million prize would be the eighth-highest won, according to the Mega Millions website. The drawing for the Rolling Cash 5 is each night at 7:35 p.m.

One ticket, which was sold in Florida, matched the five white balls to win $1 million on Friday.

If you're feeling extra lucky, Wednesday night's Powerball drawing is worth even more money, climbing to $440 million.
