That's fast, but the Croatian company has built an even more impressive follow-up in the C_Two, which made its debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
The new Rimac C_Two further takes things to the next level from the limited production Rimac Concept One hypercar which was produced till 2017. An innovative battery pack in technology and layout delivers 120 kWh energy and 1.4MW of power. The rear wheels are offered with a two speed gearbox, while the front gets a single speed gearbox. Yes, those figures seem carefully calculated to outdo Tesla's upcoming next-generation Roadster, which is supposed to hit 60 miles per hour in 1.9 seconds and top out at 250 miles per hour.
The price for the model that puts the hyper into the electric vehicle is a cool £2.3m.
There's an all-wheel-drive vectoring system to replace ESP which means you can have a rear-biased, drifting auto on a track day or a four-wheel-drive road vehicle in slippery conditions. The Tesla Roadster can hit 100km/h in 1.9 seconds.

The auto has Level 4 autonomy, so it will basically be able to drive on its own but will still require a driver to be behind the wheel.
The electric supercar can also perform well on the track with a set of assists. The Rimac C_Two produces a whopping 1,887bhp of power and 2,300Nm of peak torque.
The interior is minimalist yet features a luxurious trim combination of carbonfibre and suede, reflecting Rimac's goal of creating a luxurious grand tourer it says is "in league with Pagani, Koenigsegg and Bugatti". To aid in that, it has eight cameras, a lidar, six radars, and twelve ultrasonic sensors. Tracks can be loaded into the onboard computer to provide coaching on the racing line, braking, turn-in and acceleration points.
