Multiple reports indicate the Vikings are close to landing Kirk Cousins

He will be eligible to sign with the Jets, Vikings, or another team of his choosing any time after March 14th. Cousins could be that quarterback.

In addition to Miller's report, Benjamin Allbright reported that the general feeling right now is that Cousins has not only narrowed his list down to two teams, but that the Minnesota Vikings are the team he's going to ultimately sign with.

Take this one for what it's worth, but Ralphy Vacchiano of SNY is reporting that the Jets have spoken to the representatives for Kirk Cousins and fear he's heading to the land of a thousand lakes in Minnesota, instead of taking a bit out of the Big Apple. According to Brian Costello of the New York Post, the Jets could offer Cousins a five-year $150 million deal with most of that guaranteed, and as much as $60 million guaranteed in the first year.

If these reports turn out to be true, Cousins will be helping the Vikings next season in their attempt to contend for the Super Bowl for the second-straight year.

Arizona's quarterback situation was sent into a freefall after Palmer retired, leaving the Cardinals with no quarterbacks on the roster as well as no head coach before they hired Steve Wilks.

The biggest name in the pool of 2018 NFL free agents has once again shaken the landscape of football.

Last season with the Redskins, Cousins [VIDEO]tossed for 4,093 yards and 27 touchdowns with 13 interceptions in 16 starts.

In case Cousins joins the Vikings, the Broncos and the Jets could settle for Keenum, according to Mike Klis of 9News. In them, Cousins has racked up almost 20,000 yards while completing 65.5 percent of his passes.
