ASUS Introduces ZenFone Max Pro (M1) Smartphone in India

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 has been launched in India, featuring a stock version of Android and a massive 5000mAh battery. The ZenFone Max Pro device features 5000mAh battery, a 6-inch FHD+ Full View display and a dual-camera system.

The Zenfone Max Pro M1 is built around Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 636 chipset, which is manufactured using the 14nm process.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 price in India is said to be and it's available in Meteor Black and Deepsea Black colors.

The dual camera setup on the Redmi Note 5 Pro is a 12-megapixel (f/2.2, 1.25µm) + 5-megapixel (f/2.0, 1.12µm) that comes with phase detection autofocus and an LED flash, all vertically aligned. The phone sports a 5.99-inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080) 18:9 IPS display, resulting in 83 per cent screen-to-body ratio and 403 PPI pixel density. One area where the ZenFone Max clearly wins is the inclusion of a dedicated MicroSD card slot, whereas the Redmi Note 5 Pro plainly opts for a hybrid solution.

As for the Redmi Note 5 Pro, the only "Pro" for users considering to buy it will be the front facing 20MP camera which might be a game changer if upping the selfie game was one's priority. It runs on pure version of Android 8.1 Oreo OS. For security, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and Face unlock feature. With an AnTuTu score 116618, the ZenFone Max Pro M1 is 54 percent faster than the Redmi Note 5 Pro, claimed the company at the unveiling of the phone. This, incidentally, is the same processor used in the Redmi Note 5 Pro and is more powerful than the Snapdragon 625 SoC that the Redmi Note 5 gets. The mid-end phone is exclusive to Flipkart and will start selling from May 3. The top model with 6GB RAM and 64GB is priced at Rs. 14,999. Flipkart will also offer its new mobile protection plan for smartphones which covers broken screens, liquid damage, hardware and software issues, and more for an introductory price of Rs 49. The interested buyers can also avail no-cost EMI across all credit cards and Bajaj Finserv card.
