Hulu benefits from Brooklyn Nine-Nine heading to NBC

NBC has announced it will pick up Brooklyn Nine-Nine following Fox's decision to cancel the cult comedy. Not just to us, but to celebrities like Mark Hamill, too, and now Brooklyn Nine-Nine cast member Terry Crews is thanking him for saving the show, which was recently revealed to be saved from cancellation and heading to NBC.

We jumped on it really quickly and are thrilled to have it and think it fits into our brand of comedy in many ways better than it fit into Fox's brand of comedy.

Fox decided last week to pull the plug on the cop comedy after five seasons.

The star added, "Andy [Samberg] has been on "SNL" and it just makes so much sense and we fit in with their comedies". "I certainly feel we're in a good place, but as to whether or not we get more, that's obviously far beyond my reach".

NBC revoked the cancellation due to the public outcry of devoted fans who wanted more of the show. In the meantime, look for new episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine over at its new NBC home during the 2018-2019 TV season.

It seems, with fans as supportive as these, Brooklyn Nine-Nine may never end up behind bars.

There's also the new multi-camera comedy "Abby's", which is described as the first sitcom to be show outdoors in front of a live audience.

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" is produced by NBCUniversal's studio, Universal Television.

"We tried to move "Last Man Standing" over previous year when ABC decided not to move forward", she said.

The procession of stars across NBCUniversal's portfolio of talent who took the stage also included Busy Phillips, plugging her new E! talk show, "Busy Tonight", and "El Recluso" ("The Inmate") star Ignacio Serricchio, promoting Telemundo's new political thriller "Prisionero Número Uno" ("Prisoner Number 1") about a Mexican immigrant deported from the USA who, after criticizing Donald Trump, becomes famous and is elected the president of Mexico. It's a surreal experience because every show is like a human being - it has its own personality, and when it's canceled it's a death.

The Fox executives said they are counting on the addition of football on Thursday night, in addition to its Sunday games, to help boost its new and returning shows.

Tim Allen told Fox News he was "excited" to begin filming Season 3 of "Last Man Standing".

That doesn't mean we shouldn't try or that we should open up the national checkbook as President Trump appears ready to do. Kim, who picked Beijing to make his maiden official trip overseas in March, has also invited Xi to visit North Korea.
