Hadwin wound up in sixth place. When asked what she was doing after the show, Courtney said she would be enjoying some well-deserved ice cream with her family.

She wowed the judges and viewers with energetic and mature covers of rock "n" roll classics by Tina Turner, James Brown and Steppenwolf.

The NBC reality show is set to announce the season 13 victor Wednesday after a two-hour celebration of the talented performers who have come to the end of the road, but kicking things off from the start was one of America's most iconic bands of all time.

Howie Mandel, who had given Hadwin a Golden Buzzer straight to the live rounds, called the singer a "superstar in the making", and had obviously been rooting for her. "I think the world does too, we are watching a superstar in the making right here on "America's Got Talent".

Following the performance, judge Howie Mandel said: "You are on fire, you're incredible". "I love you all so much".

The performances on America's Got Talent are just snippets compared to what the group is capable of.

"After the quarterfinals, he told me I needed to get away from the (card) table, to move away from being small and get bigger", Lim told USA TODAY moments after his victory at Hollywood's Dolby Theatre on Wednesday. "You were awesome. My prediction is you're going to be the victor".

America's Got Talent finds their victor tonight of season 13 and Courtney has a great chance of winning. Before Tuesday's performance, she thanked fans on social media, saying she had had "an unbelievable time". "Whoever wins got the most votes and Shin.he did his best performance [Monday] night".

Cowell also said that even if she didn't win, he would sign her to a record deal, so this may not be the last the public hears from the teen.
