Tiger Woods on new Nike Colin Kaepernick ad: 'It's a lovely spot'

The ad aired during the first commercial break in the third quarter of the Eagles-Falcons game on Thursday night.

"If Nike is ashamed of America, we are ashamed of them", College of the Ozarks President Jerry C. Davis said in a statement. "Because what nonbelievers fail to understand is that calling a dream insane is not an insult; it's a compliment".

Even before Nike's two-minute "Dream Crazy" film hit airwaves, it circulated around the internet, garnering millions of views since it was released September 5.

"You have to think beyond what you see around you", Kaepernick says in video posted to social media of his speech. "But if it's really how the leadership of the company feels and they're attacking law enforcement and military folks on objective and then why deal with them when there's plenty of others out there".

"I think it speaks for itself".

Despite an initial drop in their stock price, Nike Inc. looks to be increasing in sales after they dropped their controversial Colin Kaepernick advertisement. Tell me your issues and what you're upset about.

The 90-second ad showed a variety of athletes, including the Lakers' LeBron James and tennis star Serena Williams, and it ended with the slogan: "It's only insane until you do it".

United States ex-senator Jon Kyl named as successor to McCain
President Donald Trump tweeted: "Jon Kyl will be an extraordinary senator representing an extraordinary state, Arizona ". Under Arizona law, Ducey is responsible for appointing a McCain replacement until a November 2020 special election .

"Honestly I don't know what the National Football League is doing from. But I'm proud of the people who have taken it upon themselves to be that difference". You can go back into the locker room. I honor our national anthem.

A recent Nike advertisement is generating a lot of mixed emotions. Philadelphia safety Malcolm Jenkins, who has raised a fist during the anthem in the past but did not do so before Thursday's game, said Wednesday that he wants players to protest in different ways, to "get this conversation to move away from the anthem". I'm proud of whoever's decision that was. But they're going to have to convince us that they're not proactively attacking law enforcement officers and our military.

Information from ESPN's Darren Rovell was used in this report.

Nike announced Kaepernick's participation Monday, and the ad premiered Tuesday.

The ad was unleashed for the 30th anniversary of Nike's first Just Do It campaign and Nike also released ads featuring Serena Williams, NFL receiver Odell Beckham, Jr.

Losing to the 2017 opener is particularly worrisome, the outlet underscores, as last year's matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the New England Patriots earned only 21.8 million viewers and scored only a 7.7/29 rating among adults in the key demo, 18-49.
