Manchester United dismiss report Mourinho will be sacked today

A 90th-minute victor from Alexis Sanchez, one of the major disappointments of this season, completed the comeback which should ease the pressure on Mourinho.

United's attack did the defence no favours in the 50th minute, with Pogba denied by Newcastle Martin Dubravka from 25 yards despite a deflection and Matic missing the second chance, on an open net, by sending his attempt over the crossbar.

It looked as though the manager's days could be numbered when Newcastle raced into a two-goal lead inside 10 minutes, but second-half goals from Juan Mata, Anthony Martial and substitute Sanchez sealed all three points in remarkable fashion.

Those rumours, however, were later quashed by the club themselves, but the feeling still remains that Mourinho is living on borrowed time in the Old Trafford dugout.

Jose Mourinho was under huge pressure before Manchester United's game with Newcastle United, never mind when they were 2-0 down, so it's no surprise he shouted with relief after the final whistle.

Given the widespread claims of players falling out with the manager at Old Trafford, this was a result that owed everything to Mourinho's decisions. "I think, really, some of the boys, in spite of them not being the man that is hunted, I think that they are not coping well with it".

May appeals for party unity at 'toughest phase' of Brexit
The less domestic and foreign producers believe in the prosperous development of the country, the less they are willing to invest in it.

Ndombele was one of the best players on the pitch as Lyon embarrassed City 2-1 at home earlier in the season in the Champions League, and it seems to have impressed Pep Guardiola.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho criticised "man-hunting" and "wickedness" against him and his team and said young players such as Marcus Rashford and Scott McTominay were struggling to deal with the pressure.

It is a move that the club have made before, when they asked Mourinho to keep himself available as they decided what to do with Louis van Gaal. Journalists don't break stories of this nature unless they're absolutely certain.

"I think opponents with much more potential than us finished behind us". I think that is clear.

Mourinho further joked that the rain in London would be his fault as would the negotiations for Brexit failing.

"With all the respect and I hope they don't interpret me in a negative way, if we are playing in a league like the Swiss league and we don't win that league, anything else apart from winning that league would be an terrible season". I love that football club.
