Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump, and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, who serve as advisers to the president, will also attend.

Also in its statement on Sunday, the POC slammed the Arab cyclists for their "disloyalty" and for taking part in a "free service for the [Israeli] occupation that does not recognize worldwide laws, resolutions and charters of the United Nations on the rights of the Palestinian people and continues to deny the right of the Palestinian Arab people to establish their independent state on their land with al-Quds as its capital".

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was not on the list.

Trump's daughter Ivanka and her husband, senior White House aide Jared Kushner, will also be part of the U.S. presidential delegation, along with Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, added the White House.

The entire Jerusalem al-Quds is now under Israel's control, while the regime also claims the city's eastern part, which hosts the third holiest Muslim site.

"Those who will attend the ceremony will send a signal that they are encouraging the trampling of worldwide legitimacy and the inherent rights of the Palestinian people", Erekat said as quoted in the statement.

Approximately 800 American and Israeli visitors are expected at the inauguration of the new embassy in Jerusalem's Arnona neighborhood, but officials from other countries have also been invited.
